To improve the performance of the TURGAY-PETROLEUM JSC and to provide the management with a reliable tool for modern management decision making on the basis of full-scale analysis of the enterprise activity.
The implemented system is built on the basis of SAP ERP 6.0 and includes the following basic functional modules:
- PM (ТОRО) – Maintenance of wells and other production units;
- MM – logistic support and services purchasing, warehouse management;
- FM – Project management;
- FI – financial accounting;
- CO – corporate controlling.
At the same time the ISU focuses on production solutions.
The standard ISU LOKhL solution was substantially modified. In particular, the Kazakhstan Republic chart of accounts was taken as the main one. In addition, the initial cost of a product unit was implemented, and the "Finished Products Accounting" business scenario was developed.
Result
At present 200 users are working in the system: those of the headquarters in Kyzylorda, Almaty office, Kumkol field oil & gas extraction shop.
The existing business processes were brought in compliance with the SAP standards and best global practices. A common information space for enterprise employees was created, releasing them from the need of multiple input of the same information and manual documentation creation. Now the company management receoves information on the enterprise activity in the real time mode to make prompt management decisions.
