Project Objectives
Automation of a manufacturing execution system.
The MES functionality primarily helps to properly manage oil production, product preparation and delivery processes as well as drilling and well repair processes.
ITPS specialists* provided the following services:
- Analyzed drilling and well capital repair processes
- Analyzed production, transportation, treatment and product delivery processes
- Analyzed manuals for production business processes as well as reports
- Interviewed specialists and executives
- Prepared documents describing production business processes
- Agreed document reporting forms
- Launched a pilot MES
- Put the system into trial operation
- Handed over and put the system into commercial operation
- Provided support to MES users
Result
KarakudukMunai personnel find the system very useful for their everyday activities, as it allows them to quickly view historic information and retrospectively analyze the production process across the entire field.
Client feedback
ITPS* specialists demonstrated a high level of oil and gas industry competency and expertise at every step of the project; this coupled with their excellent ability to work with people and clearly explain information to the system end users ensured success of the project.
