Developing a portal for an integrated project management system (IPMS).
Project Objectives
- Develop a portal based on MS SharePoint to host IPMS information.
- Provide access to the portal for all project activity stakeholders in LUKOIL.
- Ensure secure access to information.
- Ensure fast operation of the system, particularly when downloading or opening big files or watching video files.
To create an integrated project management system, ITPS developed and launched a portal with the following key functionalities:
- Information on IPMS
- News on support of capital projects and their events
- Terms and definitions for project management
- Information on project phases
- Information on project areas and IPMS processes
- Information on key roles
- Document storage
- Project radar
- Project learnings and take-aways
- Document download functionality

- Introduction to first-time users of the portal.
Result
The portal of the integrated project management system provides IPMS information to all LUKOIL staff and contractors involved in any project. The portal contains project information, key learnings, terms and definitions, training materials for project management, Project Viewer news bulletins, etc.
