ITPS Took Part in Work of SPIEF-2015

The ITPS took part in the work of the Saint-Petersburg International Economic Forum held on June 18-20, 2015. Its delegation was headed by CEO ITPS Leonid Tikhomirov.

As part of the forum, ITPS representatives took part in a business lunch organized to discuss the issues of IT industry development in new realia, held negotiations with colleagues and partners, and visited relevant panel sessions.

“Participation in the Saint-Petersburg International Economic Forum was useful and timely for ITPS. Thanks to participation in some sessions dedicated to our business profile, we could determine opportunities and points of growth of ITPS business in the midterm. It was useful to learn the experience of entering foreign markets by Russian companies, the problems faced by executives of domestic companies, and ways of overcoming such problems. Thanks to the varied programme of the meetings and discussions on political and economic issue, we got a more comprehensive view on development of the macroeconomic situation in the upcoming two years. During the forum we held negotiations with the colleagues and partners from Accenture, Honeywell, 1C, ER-Telecom, KPMG. We had an important conversation with the Minister of Communications and Media Nikolay Nikiforov, during which the issue of governmental support of domestic software development was discussed.”

St. Petersburg International Economic Forum is an important annual international event in the sphere of economy and business, which unites politics, business and media representatives, and leading scientists from around the world. This year, as a part of the forum, 205 agreements, memorandums and contracts for the total amount of 293.4 billion rubles were signed.
