The fourth meeting of the Architecture Club for oil and gas companies was held on 20 October in Moscow. The event was supported by Accenture and ITPS.

As is tradition, representatives from the largest oil and gas companies of Russia – LUKOIL, Gazprom Neft, Rosneft, and Surgutneftegas were amongst the meeting’s main participants.

The Fourth Architecture Club meeting agenda focused on one of the most relevant issues for companies today  – that of "Architecture data management" which has in recent years evolved into an entire discipline centered around managing data as a whole, including operational/transactional systems to support everyday business needs, decision support systems to meet the need for data trends and historical data analysis, integration schemes and methods to provide data supporting report generation, data flow, etc.

During the meeting, leading experts and heads of Russian oil and gas companies shared their case studies on data management in a session which took the format of a round-table, and discussed their common objectives in terms of industry-specific standards and solutions.
