PRODUCING INDUSTRY: Alter Ego of the Siberian oilfields: a new “digital twin” of Gazprom and ITPS

Gazprom Neft rolled out an integrated program “Asset of the Future”, according to which it is developing integrated models for oil and gas bearing sites. In spring, 2021, the Production Management Centre (PMC) of Gazpromneft-Vostok together with ITPS Group of Companies created a “digital twin” of the Urmano-Achinskaya group of fields located in the Tomsk and Omsk regions. A leading Russian portal for the subsoil resources’ users ‘The Producing Industry’ provided the details of this large-scale project.

“By carrying out stage-by-stage transformation of production and operating processes, the enterprise allows managing the events on the operative horizon, quickly deal with all the arising issues and receive from the asset the maximum benefit in the nearest term. The launch of a “digital twin” of the Urmano-Archinskaya group of fields is a remarkable example of how disruptive technologies change production beyond recognition and bring it to a whole new level”, outlined Leonid Tikhomirov, ITPS CEO.
