The digitalization of the cement industry enterprises is a current topic for all the companies trying to improve their margin and competitive advantages. All the key enterprises are carrying into effect their roadmaps of step-by-step transitioning to the digital production control model and improving the performance indicators by implementing advanced technologies collectively known as “Industry 4.0”: “big data”, artificial intelligence, machine-learning, Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), etc. The first thing it requires is to make the processes and data transparent and systemic. The article presents an innovative management model for a cement production enterprise based on a specialized digital solution, which can help a company to improve its competitiveness due to the improvement of the products’ quality, cost reductions and overall improvement of the business economic efficiency. The article also discusses a case of implementation of this approach at four Russian enterprises with a “dry” method of cement production.
