CHEMICAL COMPLEX OF RUSSIA: innovative development of chemical industry discussed at the International Industrial Forum INNOPROM 2020

The Federal State Unitary Enterprise Khimvest Research and Development Centre at the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation held a session on the topic ‘Lean production and increasing labor efficiency at enterprises in the chemical and petrochemical industry’ as part of the International Industrial Forum INNOPROM. The discussion was attended by the representatives of industry enterprises such as: Titan Group of Companies, Apatit, Gazpromneft-SM (OZSM), Vostokneftezavodmontazh JSC) as well as the developers of IT solutions used for achieving the desired business effects: industry leader Chemical Industry at Sberbank, ITPS, Deloitte CIS, and others.

The participants discussed the need for integrated development of enterprises and the transition to new production management approaches not solely with the help of IT tools implementation, but by creating new end-to-end processes based on monitoring and real-time data analytics. According to the CEO of the ITPS Group of Companies, Leonid Tikhomirov, the required technological capabilities and methodological basis for this is already available.
