The ITPS Group of Companies is featured in three articles in the latest issue of "Oil. Gas. Innovations" magazine, dedicated to the "Intelligent Oilfield: Innovative Technologies from the Well to the Pipeline" International Research-to-Practice Conference, which was held in Sochi in October 2015. Features for the issue were prepared on the basis of reports given by delegates at the forum.

The article by A.N. Dmitrievsky, N.A. Eremin (from the Institute of Oil and Gas Issues of the Russian Academy of Sciences) and L.I. Tikhomirov on "The Present and the Future of the Intelligent Oilfield" examines the importance of transformations in the oil & gas industry, intellectual technologies and possible effects of their implementation, as well as the dynamics of development of intelligent oil and gas production over the past 15 years.

The article by O.V. Oleinikov, Head of the Organizational Processes and IT Infrastructure department, is dedicated to the AVIST integration platform, which enables the efficiency of integrated modelling tools in operations to be improved. The article examines the purpose of developing the AVIST platform, its functionality, the key advantages it has over "local" production facility models, as well as the results.

The article by S.V. Volkov, Head of the "Intelligent Oilfield" Division, and expert S.I. Mogilnikov, talks about one of the most important components of the AVIST platform - the "Integrated Planning" solution – as well as its key features and advantages. It demonstrates that the solution allows for the creation of an optimal, streamlined list of procedures aimed at reducing the company's operating costs by reducing downtime of process facilities, reducing shortfalls, and optimizing the use of resources. The article gives examples of an integrated production optimization plan to ensure production plan fulfilment taking into account actual process limitations.

According to the results of the forum participants’ survey, ITPS reports were among the best materials presented at the conference.

The "Intelligent Oilfield: innovative technology from the well to the pipeline" annual conference was first held in 2013. Last year, over 100 delegates attended, including representatives from Bashneft PJSC, Tatneft PJSC, LUKOIL PJSC as well as other companies and scientific institutions.
