The BIOT team presented the work results within the framework of the MedLAB 2022 acceleration program of the Skolkovo Foundation. It is planned to introduce the service in the L7 medical center

08.09.2022

Experts from the BIOT development group (a service for early detection of diseases and providing recommendations with the support of a personal physician) presented the results of four months of work carried out within the framework of the acceleration program MedLAB 2022: Innovation Laboratory for startups in the field of digital medicine. The results were presented at the graduation event Demo Day MedLAB 2022, which took place on September 5, 2022, at the Skolkovo Innovation Center (Moscow).

The BIOT team joined the MedLAB laboratory program as one of the winners of the competitive selection process. Within the framework of the program, BIOT started cooperation with the L7 Medical Center (Makhachkala). The center's endocrinologists tested the service firsthand and got acquainted with the work of the doctor's personal cabinet. The doctors highly appreciated the development and confirmed their interest in further use. Shortly, the center plans to launch a pilot project – L7 customers will get an opportunity to be connected to the BIOT service.

"We highly appreciate the experience gained during the MedLAB 2022 program. Participation in the accelerator allowed us to collect feedback from market experts, which helped us improve the product. Soon the L7 Medical Center clients will be able to try a new unique service of remote health monitoring. The service's main target audience will be people concerned about stress levels, increased fatigue, an imbalance of activity and rest modes, weight problems, age-related changes, and other factors affecting well-being. Our service will help adjust their lifestyle and eating habits, find hidden health risks and start prevention. To achieve this, it is enough to wear a smart wristband and follow the doctor's recommendations," mentioned Head of the ITPS Digital Solutions Center, Dmitrii Tachkin.

The BIOT digital service is designed to assess a person's functional condition, work preventively with risks, and establish effective communication with the treating physician. The solution automatically collects a unique set of physiological parameters obtained from a personal wearable device (HEALBE GoBe smart wristband). The data goes into the analytics system, where it is transformed by mathematical and statistical processing into information about the qualitative and quantitative assessment of the dynamics of risk change. Based on this information, the physicians develop recommendations for lifestyle adjustments regarding physical activity, nutrition, rest, etc., and prescribe additional medical examinations if necessary.
