From April 22 to 25, the ITPS participated in the business mission of innovative companies in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The program was organized by the Export Support Center in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Perm Territory.
The main aim of the mission was to hold meetings to discuss prospects for cooperation between Russian companies and Uzbekistan in the fields of economy, industry and investment activities. During the visit, the ITPS team held a series of talks with representatives of major local industrial enterprises and took part in meetings held in conjunction with the heads of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Ministry of Innovative Development. The Russian delegation was led by Alexei Chibisov – Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Perm Territory and Minister for Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade of the Perm Territory. The Russian delegation included top managers from the leading enterprises in the field of engine building and instrument engineering, oil and gas and IT sector enterprises, agriculture companies, etc. The meetings were dedicated to the discussion of promising areas of development, including cooperation in the field of industrial safety, complex modernization and digitalization of enterprises.
“We have been working in the market of Uzbekistan for more than 10 years. During this time, several interesting and complex projects have been implemented, including the construction of the Kandym fields. At the meetings, the ITPS presented its own digital solutions for the effective management of production resources and integrated solutions for the management of enterprise efficiency, which have already been successfully implemented at several enterprises in Russia. We propose considering these solutions for deployment at the enterprises in Uzbekistan and aim to shine a light on the unprecedented benefits this will bring to business and the country as a whole,” explained Leonid Tikhomirov, CEO of the ITPS.
The economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan today is one of the fastest growing in the world. Introduction of modern IT, industrial and other innovative technologies is defined as one of the areas of innovative development in the Republic of Uzbekistan, fostering comprehensive development of the industry sectors of the real economy.
In order to advance dialogue in this area on May 14, 2019, the ITPS together with Osisoft will hold a seminar on the topic “Integrated Digital Transformation: to Efficiency Through Digitalization”, where the best examples from domestic and international practice will be showcased in order to demonstrate how innovative solutions help to improve production efficiency and build digital enterprises.
