Alexey Mezentsev, Head of the Industrial Automation and Telecommunications Division for ITPS Group of Companies:

"In Russia, when it comes to implementing infrastructure projects, frameworks such as EPCs (Engineering, Procurement and Construction contracts), in which the contractor is responsible for the entire project - from the design to the construction of facilities – are becoming more widespread. In particular, large oil and gas and chemical enterprises actively attract foreign licensees as EPC contractors. Such an operational framework allows them to secure project financing from contractors on favourable terms, and enables enterprises to optimize their own workforce in addition to a number of other advantages. At the same time, foreign EPC contractors are interested in cooperation with reliable local partners who specialize in designing and building IT infrastructure, security systems and production management, who are familiar with the specifics of the market and industry as a whole.

The ITPS Group of Companies has extensive experience in EPC projects in the area of telecommunication and IT infrastructure development, implementation of automated process control systems and physical security systems. We carry out work at all stages of the operational lifecycle: creating sets of working documentation for approval by government bodies, supply of equipment (where necessary), and installation and commissioning of all systems and services. In addition, we offer the opportunity to conduct full integration testing of the implemented systems with the aim of reducing facility commissioning times. ITPS specialists have more than 300 certificates, diplomas and work permits for operating in highly hazardous conditions and at remote sites.

As part of the oil field development project in Iraq, ITPS Group of Companies completed construction of a fault-tolerant telecommunication services and production systems infrastructure for a "digital" field. Our company passed the selection process and tender procedures of all EPC contractors on the project (CPP, ENKA, Samsung Engineering, Techno Engineering) and was hired as a system integrator. ITPS ensured integration of all telecommunication and IT systems within the field infrastructure, the facilities of which were built by various EPC contractors, as well as integration with the field operator’s corporate information systems. A comprehensive personnel and asset security system was created at the field with a single data processing centre for all movements at the contractor sites, with various access levels and a high degree of protection at remote sites."
