Aleksandr Palkanov

Director of the Department for Development and Implementation of Solutions for Telecom Companies

Born in 1977 in Maykop, Krasnodar Region.

In 2001, Aleksandr graduated from Bauman Moscow State Technical University with a degree in Applied Mathematics. In 2014, he received an MBA degree from Moscow International Graduate School of Business MIRBIS, specializing in Management in the Telecommunications Industry.

He started his career in 2001 as a Test Engineer for billing systems, and since 2003, he has been managing projects and project programs aimed at the implementation of BSS/OSS solutions. Working for Russian and global BSS/OSS solution providers, he implemented more than 30 transformation projects and programs in Russia, CIS, Latin America, and South-East Asia.

Aleksandr has extensive experience in leading large-scale transformation initiatives for companies with complex organizational structures, such as Telefonica, Rostelecom, and Veon, as well as in project and program management.

He joined the ITPS team in 2023 to lead the work with ER-Telecom Holding, focusing primarily on the key challenges of developing the company's target architecture and transforming the IT landscape.

He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®), Scaled Agile, Inc (SAFe® 5 Agilist).

Aleksandr believes that one of the critical tasks of a manager is to create an atmosphere of support and development for the team as a whole and for each team member in particular, which will help everyone achieve their goals and contribute to the company's success.
