On September 10-11, the 10th Federal Forum of IT and Digital Technologies of the Russian Oil and Gas Industry Smart Oil&Gas took place in Moscow. The event brought together representatives of oil and gas companies, IT companies, and government agencies.
Eldar Vildanov, Deputy Director for the Implementation of Digital Solutions at ITPS, reported on the main challenges in the implementation of the digital field. He pointed out that the digital deposit process is a comprehensive solution that cannot be implemented separately from the rest of the automation process.
"High volatility is one of the fundamental challenges of our time. The world is changing rapidly, and companies need a tool that allows them to respond quickly to these changes. A company must be prepared for internal transformations, primarily organizational and structural, because the automation of key business processes requires changes in the structure of the organization. The success of the implementation depends not only on the chosen vendor, but also on the understanding of the goals and objectives of the digital field implementation in the company," said Eldar Vildanov, Deputy Director for Implementation of Digital Solutions at ITPS, in his speech.
The speaker presented the proprietary development of ITPS, AVIST Oil&Gas solution. The solution enables companies to improve the efficiency of field development and operations management processes by rapidly capturing field data and using it to create digital models of production and processing facilities. AVIST Oil&Gas is used in commercial operations at major oil fields.
The main purpose of digital field calculations is to evaluate the efficiency of the production scenario. Every operation, every change in the production process, every start-up and shut-down of facilities should have a clear economic justification in order to solve both operational and strategic tasks. By implementing AVIST Oil&Gas, the company can achieve high accuracy in forecasting and execution of production plans, thus increasing the efficiency of development and production management.
