Engineering of the future: how to increase the efficiency of an oil and gas asset based on the synergy of digital solutions. ITPS at the LUKOIL-Engineering Conference

Digitalization of engineering processes has become an essential strategic task for the oil and gas market leaders. Leading companies in the industry are actively developing new technological directions, paying particular attention to domestic solutions. To develop competencies and exchange experience in this area, LUKOIL-Engineering LLC held the 4th International Scientific and Practical Conference, "Improving Maintenance Efficiency of Oil and Gas Assets."

The event included a round table on "Integrated Model as an Element of a Digital Field," attended by the experts of LUKOIL, Gazprom Neft, Tatneft, and other companies. At the event, the Head of the ITPS Integrated Modeling Department, Anton Ovchinnikov, commented on the successful experience of joint use of the Russian tNavigator software (a product of RFD company) and the AVIST Oil&Gas platform (developed by ITPS). These applications offer the integration of production data and digital tools for intelligent asset management. The expert introduced the testing results, including several integrated models of small deposits. The research demonstrated that the Russian solutions in use allow modeling production facilities with the same level of detail as the products offered by the world's leading vendors. The calculations are the basis for efficient management decisions, allowing production volumes to increase by 1-2%.

"Over the years of working with a wide variety of software, we have developed an automated algorithm for creating component models and updating them, preparing data to perform and analyzing scenario calculations for industrial use. The challenge was to implement these capabilities based on domestic software. As a result of using the RFD software product and the AVIST Oil&Gas platform, we achieved the required convergence and quality of the integrated model. In addition to the process parameters, it was crucial to ensure convenience, security, a single information space, multi-user mode, and work speed with the integrated model. Our team accomplished all this with the help of automation tools developed to support the essential processes," Anton Ovchinnikov stated.
