FNPZ receives an award at the Smart Oil&Gas-2022 forum for the best IT project in the oil and gas industry

Fergana Oil Refinery (FNPZ, Republic of Uzbekistan) and ITPS Group have won the 13th annual "Best Digital Solutions for the Oil and Gas Industry" ­­­­competition organized by the ComNews publishing group. The award in the category "Best IT Project in the Oil & Gas Industry" is based on implementing an integrated information system (IIS) of the ERP class at FNZP. The award ceremony took place at the VIII Federal Forum on IT and Digital Technology for Russia's Oil & Gas Industry "Smart Oil&Gas-2022" (­­­­­­­­­­­St. Petersburg).

The Fergana refinery is one of the largest in Central Asia. The project to establish an IIS was initiated in the context of the company's transition to new cost-efficient methods of managing production and related processes and optimizing labor costs for implementing accounting and other operations. As part of the project, the ITPS specialists created an industry-specific solution based on which a number of critical business processes were automated: accounting and tax settlement, production management and cost accounting, maintenance and repair management, inventory management and sales of finished products, etc.

Natalya Alshanikova, Deputy Director of Business Process Automation at FNPZ, received the award for the project. "This is the first project in Uzbekistan in the oil and gas industry. I think we have done a good job, having implemented an enormous volume in almost a year," she stressed.

ITPS regularly participates in ComNews' "Best Digital Solutions for the Oil and Gas Industry" competition.­­­­ Last year, the group was awarded in the particular category "The Best Digital Solution in the Oil and Gas Industry" for the project to create a digital twin of the Urmano-Archinskaya group of fields. Previously, ITPS was a winner in the categories "Specialised Software Solution for the Oil and Gas Industry," "Digital Deposit," etc.
