Digital intelligence in production. ITPS at Perm Engineering and Industrial Forum

22.04.2021

The ITPS Group of Companies, the leader in digital production in Russia, presented advanced approaches and integrated solutions to improve industrial enterprises' efficiency based on the breakthrough technologies of Industry 4.0 at the Perm Engineering and Industrial Forum (PIPF'21). The event took place on April 15-16, 2021 and brought together more than three thousand specialists and top managers of major industrial enterprises of the Russian Federation, representatives of federal and regional authorities, financial institutions, scientists, investors, Russian and foreign experts. The organizer was the government of the Perm Territory with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Industrial Development Fund, and state corporations and industrial giants. The critical events of the forum were scientific and technical advice and procurement sessions of LUKOIL, Gazprom, SIBUR, Russian Railways, PhosAgro, Uralkali, Akron, and Metafrax.

The Perm Engineering and Industrial Forum has been held since 2014. This year, for the sixth time, it has brought together participants in the innovative development of the Russian industry for a constructive dialogue. “The Forum has become a significant event not only for the region's industry but also for the entire country. Every year leading experts, industry representatives, businessmen, and government officials get together for professional communication and exchange of experience, and the Russian enterprises present their unique high-tech products,” said Dmitrii Makhonin, the Perm Territory governor, in his welcoming speech at the forum.

ITPS experts presented approaches to improving the efficiency of industrial enterprises based on enterprise management systems (MES), monitoring and control systems, IIoT infrastructure, process analytics, and real-time data processing tools. According to Dmitrii Romanov, Digital Production Director at the ITPS Group of Companies, the most substantial economic effect is provided by the integration of solutions in a unified ecosystem, comprising not only technological conversion but also all types and forms of work organization (financial planning and budgeting, accounting, material and technical support, reference data, investment management, etc.). “Everything built around MES and ERP systems is the crucial area for optimization, especially in times of economic uncertainty. Here we can achieve not only quick wins but also steady growth for years to come. Proper implementation gives us the necessary result,” noted the expert.

“We see that the attitude to digitalization in the industrial sector has changed significantly. There is a massive transition from isolated changes to creating unified digital landscapes and comprehensive intellectualization of the entire production. Due to the production necessity to collect information about the actual state of production, build end-to-end processes, quickly generate reports, and manage technological regimes, flexibly adjusting them to achieve the best result. This task can only be solved comprehensively, and the result must be measurable. This is what our product is about: achieving the specified parameters of efficiency through successive changes in IT tools and business processes,” summed up the CEO of the ITPS Group of Companies Leonid Tikhomirov.
