Breakthrough in technology. ITPS at INNOPROM. Big Industrial Week in Uzbekistan

08.04.2021

ITPS presented new accelerators of production processes, digital models, and services at INNOPROM. Big Industrial Week takes place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, on April 5-7, 2021. Current trends and challenges of the industry are discussed here at the highest level; traditionally, the guests of the event are the top-ranking officials of the world's largest corporations and heads of regions and countries. This year, the event is held outside of Russia for the first time, with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In Uzbekistan, the improvement of the business environment is supported at the government level. The country faces liberalization of currency, customs, and tax legislation, free economic zones are created, and new strategies are being developed. And one of the results of this policy is that during the 2020 crisis year, despite the restrictions, the trade turnover between Russia and Uzbekistan increased by 15.5% and amounted to 5.8 billion US dollars. Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov mentioned this at the exhibition's business program's – the strategic session “World industry in search of growth drivers." The session was also attended by the ministers of industry of Russia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Belarus, et al., heads of regions, and foreign delegations.

The meeting participants discussed the main trends in the market of technological solutions that are emerging in the context of the Industry 4.0 approach and the development of trade and industrial relations. The participants paid particular attention to the main directions and measures required to make a technological breakthrough needed in the new economic reality. “The global partnership in terms of technology is the best remedy for the crisis. Now the industry must reach a new level, with production automation and digitalization as the main targets. Without this, it is impossible to remain competitive in a world where traditional products are being transformed into digital services,” said Denis Manturov at the strategic session.

The principal value of INNOPROM as a communication platform is a chance of face-to-face communication on the innovative development of the industry. Most of the presentations, round tables, and b2b meetings at the exhibition were devoted to digitalization. The region is interested in international and Russian experience in the implementation of digital technologies. In Uzbekistan, where oil and gas production, metallurgy, chemical and petrochemical industries, and other industries are developing today, solutions of this type may become a powerful tool for the development of economy in general.

“The entire world of industry is going along the digital transformation path. It can be proved not only by the INNOPROM exhibition and its key topics, but it is also the main topic of all business negotiations in which government representatives and strategically important enterprises are involved. It is important not to miss the "third wave" of technological development in the era of digitalization, which is expressed in the global use of technology. Company top managers are actively studying reference examples; they can choose the most suitable scenarios for themselves. Based on many years of practical experience, we create breakthrough products in the digitalization of oil and gas fields and industrial enterprises of a continuous cycle in the Republic of Uzbekistan. All technologies and effects presented by us are cross-industry and pay off very quickly,” emphasized the CEO of the ITPS Group of Companies, Leonid Tikhomirov
