ITPS team won in the TATNEFT mini-football tournament

On May 12, 2018, the Tatneft Business Service Centre celebrated its 3rd anniversary. A big sports and family event was organized for the occasion which included the mini-football tournament and the partners and friends of Tatneft were invited to participate. The ITPS Group of Companies was invited personally by the head of the Business Service Centre Rustem Pavlov.

The ITPS Group of Companies and PJSC Tatneft are long-standing partners, jointly implementing major projects. Thus, the project “Creation of a digital management platform for big geological, geophysical and production data of PJSC Tatneft on the basis of innovative indexing technologies, end-to-end search, verification and information processing” was highly appreciated by the Russian IT community and received an award as “The Best Project for Big Data Management at Digital Production” in the prestigious Global CIO competition.

Six teams took part in the mini-football tournament. The ITPS team was represented at the tournament by Aleksander Cherepko — Sales Manager, Aleksander Krokhalev — Head of Project Management Systems Department, Alexey Gribov — Leading Communication Specialist of the IT Department, Ilya Arkhipov — Leading Specialist of the IT Department, Konstantin Bashkirtsev — Senior Design Engineer of the Industrial Automation and Telecommunications Department.

The struggle was intense. All teams performed well and were very concentrated. The ITPS team got the second place in the tournament. It should be noted that the ITPS football team came out to the field for the first time in such a composition and took the medal place, demonstrating consistency of the game and good team spirit, ability to implement a planned strategy and achieve the result.
