ITPS and CDC held a workshop on using mobile technologies for managing repair activities based on SAP PM. They demonstrated how to integrate the CDC mobile solution with SAP PM.
Workshop attendees discussed problems that can be solved by using Plant Maintenance systems (PM) and ways to increase effectiveness of the systems and asset management processes in general.
A key factor of increasing effectiveness of asset management systems involves using mobile solutions to manage PM processes. These solutions will collect data and send it directly to EAM, the ERP system, monitor business processes in real time and provide mobile teams with all necessary information for work in the field.
