On 26 November 2015 at the conference "Asset Life Cycle. Standardization. Integration. Intellectualization" in Moscow, representatives of capital-intensive industries (oil and gas, power, production, management and investment holdings, IT services) discussed issues relating to efficient asset management in the light of modern trends.

Over 100 participants attended the conference, amongst whom were representatives of Mosenergo, LUKOIL, FGC UES, Gazprom, Russian state corporation ROSATOM, Rosneft, Yamal LNG, TomskNeft, GSE-Giprokauchuk, Angarsk Petrochemical Company, etc. Over 130 participants from Russia, UAE, Norway and other countries across the world connected to online live-stream online broadcast of the conference.

ITPS, the conference organizer for the sixth time, invited customers and partners to discuss urgent issues in asset management which draw on the use of modern information technologies.

The event covered three main subjects divided into relevant sessions: Standards and Methodology, Integrated Solutions and Intellectualization.

The section “Standards and Methodology” was presented by leaders in a standards-based risk management and production asset management, amongst whom were Igor Kryukov (Technical Committee 86 – the Russian equivalent of the international ISO/TC 251 for Asset Management), Anatoly Levenchuck (Russian branch of the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE)), and Mikhail Rogov (Eurasian Federation of Risk Managers (EFORM)).

In the second section on "Integrated Solutions" speakers from LUKOIL and ITPS presented real-life case studies of business process automation from one of the larges fields in the world – West Qurna 2 (Iraq). The company NIAEP-Atomstroyexport presented their vision of "engineering of the future" speaking about their experience of developing and applying Multi-D technologies for lifecycle management of a complex engineering object. OpenText Corporation spoke about risk mitigation technologies and streamlining document management processes in large capital projects.

The third section “Intellectualization” focused on the pressing issue of integrated modeling. ITPS and SAP experts spoke about their developments in the field, while a specialist from LUKOIL-West Siberia presented a case study from the company on the use of integrated modeling tools at oil and gas fields. The participants also discussed technologies for oil and gas field management in real-time (following a joint presentation by LUKOIL Overseas and ITPS), use of innovative methods for oil and gas asset infrastructure management (presented by Accenture) and real-time asset condition monitoring technologies (presented by OsiSoft).

Andrey Gnezdilov, ITPS: "Experts today are increasingly talking about the need for a complex approach to asset management using modern technologies. Every year ITPS conferences focus principally on this subject with the aim of arousing the audience’s interest. This year we discuss asset lifecycle management from the perspective of three main trends – standardization, integration and intellectualization. The discussion will be guided by real-life client case studies of automation of different business-processes and sharing ideas with different industry representatives, enabling us again to demonstrate the value of such IT projects for improving production efficiency."
