AUTOMATION IN INDUSTRY: Information Centers for Production Asset Management – a Key Element in Improving Maintenance and Repair Efficiency

Digital management of the maintenance and repair processes is the way to a healthy economy for any modern enterprise characterized by large fleets of equipment and considerable downtime costs. The ITPS Group has developed an approach to improve the efficiency of maintenance and repair operations’ management through the implementation of Information Centers for Production Asset Management based on SAP ERP. The ITPS experts presented their experience on the pages of a scientific and technical journal ‘Automation in Industry’ (the publication is included in the Russian Science Citation Index; all published materials have a distinct practical nature). This approach is exemplified by the case of implementing a set of software modules based on the unified solution ‘Information Center for Maintenance Planning and Management and Digital Passporting’ at Kazanorgsintez PJSC.
