LUKOIL-Perm LLC Intranet portal streamlining
Project Objectives
- Implementation of additional functional possibilities related to work with the Intranet portal of the LUKOIL-Perm LLC, "Documents" section, which includes reduction in user time expenses on the receipt of information on documents and on finding the required documents by extending the document search possibilities, displaying more detailed information on local regulatory documents and other documents;
- Enabling the recovery of the Intranet portal operation within minimum possible timeframes when the server facilities (Web server) become faulty and/or in the event of unavailability of specialists knowing non-documented system features, as well as to support the optimal system features during its operation.
During the project implementation the following works were executed by the Parma-Telecom LLC employees:
- budget scheduling and control, agreeing with the LUKOIL-Perm LLC Client Service, with the LUKOIL-Inform LLC General Client;
- analysis of the requirements to the streamlining of the LUKOIL-Perm LLC Intranet portal, "Documents" section, and to the development of a distribution kit and instructions for the setup/maintenance of the LUKOIL-Perm LLC Intranet portal, designing, technical design preparation, agreeing with the LUKOIL-Perm LLC functional Client;
- streamlining of the LUKOIL-Perm LLC Intranet portal, "Documents" section, and to the development of a distribution kit and instructions for the setup/maintenance of the LUKOIL-Perm LLC Intranet portal;
- testing the streamlined Intranet portal of the LUKOIL-Perm LLC, "Documents" section;
- testing the distribution kit and instructions for the setup/maintenance of the LUKOIL-Perm LLC Intranet portal
- errors and comments resolution;
- planning and organization of human resources involvement in the project, monitoring the current project status;
- organization of regular information exchange among project participants;
- evaluation and tracking of risks and issues arising during the project;
- control over contractors in terms of the observance of the timeframes and planned work volume;
- go-live of the streamlined Intranet portal of the LUKOIL-Perm LLC, preparing documents on the closure of project stages and the whole project.
