ITPS presented Russian digital technologies and integrated solutions at the ADIPEC-2019 22nd International Oil & Gas Exhibition and Conference, which took place on November 11-14, 2019 in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The major industry event brought together more than 145,000 representatives from 2,200 companies based in 160 countries. Over the course of the four-day event ITPS innovations were discussed and exhibition guests were learned about the latest achievements in the field of digital transformation at oil-producing companies.
The annual ADIPEC international exhibition is a key event for the oil and gas industry in the Middle East. It comprises sections dedicated to exploration for oil and gas fields, oil production, state-of-the-art equipment for the oil industry, transportation and storage technologies for oil and oil products, as well as digital innovations, which are the subject of growing attention each year.
Digital Transformation for the oil and gas industry is a widely touched-upon issue throughout the region. Robotization, drones, real-time monitoring – all these themes garner significant interest and companies operating within the region, including ADNOC and Saudi Aramco, are seeking new approaches to improving business efficiency.
“The UAE is a strategically important region for digital transformation. For many, the latter is practically synonymous with Industry 4.0, and it is precisely this direction in which the industry will continue to develop. It is no coincidence that all the leading global companies developing digital solutions such as Schlumberger, Emerson, Worley Parsons, Samsung Engineering, Hyundai Engineering and Construction, Petroleum Experts and many others are booming here. The stands of these companies are part of the exhibition. The ITPS Group of Companies is no exception - we have a large office within the region and have carved out our own market niche in the face of intense competition. We are developing intelligent oil fields where all processes and data are streamlined, interlinked and subject to a unified logic.
An integrated approach and achieving the defined efficiency parameters are the advantages that enable us to deal with business challenges of any scale and complexity”, explained Sanjar Abidov, General Manager of ITPS Middle East (Dubai).
Representatives from oil and gas companies also highly praised the innovative approach to organizing integrated modeling processes based on the Russian digital platform AVIST.Oil&Gas. The solution allows for model automation thereby ensuring maximum efficiency in production decision-making based on calculations. In addition to integrated modeling, the current version of the platform includes modules for business process and choke model methodology optimization. “Digital transformation as a trajectory for business development is becoming key in the Middle East. The exhibition features dozens of solutions for oil production digitalization, from advanced data collection equipment to platform solutions for asset management and planning. The extensive variety of offerings is directly linked to the growing demand shown from oil producing companies. Major customers in the GCC market have very exacting IT solution requirements. The call for best practices in turn drives product and service suppliers to continuously develop their offering”, explained Anton Ovchinnikov, Digital Transformation Expert of the ITPS Group of Companies.
Amongst the top ITPS solutions to garner significant interest at the exhibition was the comprehensive Russian digital Biotelemetry solution for monitoring and analysis of an individual’s physiological parameters based on data from HealBe personal wearable devices. Protecting the life and health of employees and their ability to perform work functions, as well as avoiding injuries, are objectives of primary relevance today all across the world and are solved successfully with the help of digital technologies such as Biotelemetry.
The ITPS Group of Companies took part in the ADIPEC-2019 22nd International Oil & Gas Exhibition and Conference with the support of the Russian Export Center and the Perm Territory Export Support Center.
