SCIENTIFIC JOURNAL OF THE RUSSIAN GAS SOCIETY: An integrated approach to the operational management of an oil and gas enterprise

A new form of operational production management is presented using a set of integrated solutions (integrated modelling, management of potential (search and optimization of potentials), integrated planning) implemented within the framework of a single “Intelligent Field” concept. The approach embraces modern digital tools and methods that significantly vary from traditional practices of production management and field development. The implementation of this concept, based on forecasting, evaluation, optimization and planning of measures, has an effect both in the early and late stages of field development, including at facilities with hard to recover resources and a high degree of water intrusion.
