STANDARD: Participants of the ComNews Awards 2019

At the end of 2019, ComNews Publishing House (one of the leaders in the Russian media market in the ICT segment) announced the winners of the ComNews Awards for the tenth time. It is a unique award that is given annually to breakthrough innovative digital transformation projects implemented in vertical markets, that shape the digital economy across the whole country.

In the category “Best IT project at city-forming and system-forming enterprises in the oil and gas industry”, victory went to the project “Creation and implementation of an integrated production model for the Yuzhno-Yagunskoye oil and gas field as part of the LUKOIL Intelligent Field project”. The project has been implemented by an expert team composed of LUKOIL PAO specialists, LLC LUKOIL-Western Siberia (Kogalymneftegaz), LUKOIL-Engineering, LUKOIL-Technology and the ITPS Group of Companies.

“The project of an integrated oil and gas field production model implementation is unparalleled in its scope in Russia, and, possibly, in the world. LUKOIL has obtained a new tool to increase field development efficiency,” said Evgeny Mikitin, Deputy General Director for the Development of Highly Viscous and Hard-to-Recover Oil Reserves and Integrated Modelling at LUKOIL-Engineering LLC, in his address while receiving the award.
