"Chief Information Officer" Russian magazine focuses on a Project "Integrated Information System Introduction" in LUKOIL Mid-East Ltd.

A survey on Mining and Oil, and Gas industries in Russia is brought to the forefront by the "Chief Information Officer" May edition (No. 5, 2013).

The magazine highlights the main trends in Russian Mining and Oil, and Gas industrial sectors. It also concentrates on how information technologies are developed in major Russian oil companies and how their best IT projects have been realized. The survey pays particular attention to completed IT projects by LUKOIL, Surgutneftegas, Gasprom, Rosneft, Novatech, Statoil, Samotlorneftegas, Ulianovskneft, Russneft, Tatneft, Belkamneft and other companies.

The article "In a new and uncertain environment" has become one of the key points in the survey. The article deals with the project "Integrated Information System introduction" in LUKOIL Mid-East Ltd. (IIS LME) which was carried out involving ITPS Group. Head of IT and Communications Department of LUKOIL Mid-East Sergey Kotov who is also the manager of IIS LME project department in his interview told about this ambitious project implementation and key decisions conducive to it.
